Rob Gronkowski - 4 Rec / 96 Yds / 2 TDs
With Gronkowski collecting his ninth and 10th TD receptions of the year, he matches his season-high from his rookie year. Gronkowski has 20 touchdowns in 26 games, surpassing Mike Ditka’s mark of 31 for the fewest games needed by a tight end to reach 20 touchdowns. He also pulled within three of the single-season, tight-end record of 13 touchdown receptions held by Antonio Gates of San Diego and Vernon Davis of San Francisco.

Had my first week at work this week, was good, not sitting on my ass, and actually doing something. A lot of learning, with an exam coming up in 10 days time…pretty tough…requiring a lot of knowledge. But pretty much about 4 weeks induction before we start to do any advising. Its quite good to be in a routine of going to work day in day out, but i’m sure the novelty will wear off in no time. Itll be about 4-6 monts until we’re fully into the job, but then the salary potential gets much better (commission based). Think my first impressions of the job are good, its probably something i’d quite enjoy the challenge of, but not sure about being in a big office daily.
Played golf this morning hit 5 birds, 75 (+4) in thick fog, which is pretty decent…and im getting better atm, so could start to go low next year…buts still not wiining any comps. Watched the football all day, Wales and England mainly. Found the England match funny cos essentially it just proves that we should give up trying to play like spain, and actually play like England…4-4-2 with good defence and lump it up to a big striker and get some crosses in….simples! Went down to the club quiz tonight, a little bit farcical but very entertaining…lets just say that Audio rounds should not be played from an iPod set to shuffle! Meant that any answer was pretty much correct.
Got not much to do tomorrow, execpt a bit/a lot of revision so that im a little more clued up to go back to work on Monday…exam practice. Playing indoor cricket later on, which i havent done before, so will hopefully be fun. I need to exercise a it more, and theres a work scheme with good discount on Fitness First, so considering that. But did a lot of running before I started work and got to good times, so might just make an effort to squeeze that in a bit more. I reckon I could do a marathon with a bit of training one day in a good time, i spose i’d have an advantage with the sports science degree…i’m quite good at keeping my split times and got to about 13.3kph avg on my most recent runs, which equates to the fittest ive been. On the other hand, i DID buy sum 34 waist trousers the other day so maybe not!
Currently listening to Snow Patrol - This Isnt Everything You Are, on my ipod with a cracked screen…Going to get a new iPod touch with my 1st wages which will be good, but was strongly considering an iPhone. Problem is that i cant justify spending that much on one thing, and i never text or phone anyone anyway so it would just be an internet gadget with tunes on it. I genuinely think that the ipod/iphone is the greatest invention ever cos it IS basically the pocket computer that phones people, plays music/TV/ twitter etc…pretty much why i want an iPhone even tho they are too expensive.
thers no reason why ive suddenly wrote an essay of random stuff, and noone will read this so no point, but sometimes its good to do stuff. One day, blogs, and stuff like this will be amazing for historians cos theyll just get loads of info on the past first hand, a bit like the ‘Day In A Life’ movie thing oing on today which i think is really interesting. (I sound like Karl Pilkington now!!!!)
Anyway, much to look forward to, and much to be happy with, cos loads of people arent lucky enough to actually have a job
that was a serious ramble, apologies!
G’night!
